J Rocc (Beat Junkies)-Full Set & Interview w/ MikiDz Show

No words can adequately describe J.Rocc’s set on the MikiDz Show this Monday. In his typical fashion, The World Famous Beat Junkie mixed acapellas, remixes, instrumentals and originals in ways we’ve never heard. After a 90 minute journey through hip hop, funk, reggae and more, J.Rocc spoke his mind on topics including Kendrick Lamar, performing overseas, working with J Dilla and more. We might also add that J.Rocc displayed some badass dance moves that were equally as entertaining as his set.

RoxRite (BC One Champion)-On the Road 2013

Mr Green-ILL Piano #NewMusic

“The piano ain’t got no wrong notes.”
― Thelonious Monk

“Ill Piano is a one of a kind conceptual instrumental
album centering around piano melodies composed by
the one and only Mr. Green from ‘Live from the Streets’.

The fourth volume in Green’s “Classic Beats” series, this record
is different than anything seen in the past because it’s the first
professional hip hop album that places the piano as the centerpiece.”

Masta Ace-I Did It-Prod. by DOOM-Official Video

The second video from Masta Ace’s MA_DOOM: Son of Yvonne features classic video clips from his illustrious career. In the song Ace lists the many reasons he got involved in Hip Hop and the music business. He expresses in the first verse all the reasons why he DID IT; some of his motivations and influences. As the listener starts to get the idea that Ace is summing up his career, the 2nd verse lists the reasons he is STILL doing it. He shouts out some of the local New York teams, the tri-state area, his family and the veterans who “paved the way” for him. MF DOOM’s production compliments Ace’s flow and delivery well and this certified Hip Hop banger.
