RJD2-More Is Than Isn’t-LP *Artwork/Tracklist

RJD2-More-Is-Than-Isnt

“More Is Than Isn’t is available Oct. 8th on my label RJ’s Electrical Connections. The album is largely instrumental, but I still worked with some great vocalists/friends like Phonte Coleman, Aaron Livingston, Blueprint, P. Blackk, STS, and Khari Mateen. I’m really proud of the range on this album. While I’m tempted to get deeper into descriptions, I also like the idea of you all listening with a clean slate. Just know that I wouldn’t bother releasing it if I didnt think it was funky as hell.”(As Told To HipHopSite)

Adrian Younge & Souls of Mischief–There Is Only Now-Artwork

soulsadriane
Just as Adriane Younge teamed with Ghostface for Twelve Reasons to Die,He will now team with Souls for this expected dope release in September.

Younge spoke about the project this morning (July 10) on Sway in the Morning, noting that on top of featuring Souls of Mischief, the album is to be narrated by A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad. Fittingly, Yonge expressed that the song cycle brings to mind those artists’ trademark sounds, describing it as “[Souls of Mischief’s] 93 ’til Infinity meets [A Tribe Called Quest’s] The Low End Theory meets De La Soul Is Dead.”-exclaim.com-

Like 12 Reasons to Die, the upcoming LP is a concept record, and it apparently finds the rap group involved in a violent confrontation, with the rest of the record dealing with the aftermath.

“Souls of Mischief almost gets killed by some dude that was just crazy and the whole album just starts off with this incident, and then it blossoms into these different stories that are a result of this volatile incident. And that’s basically what that album is about.”-exclaim.com-
